Lone Star Croatian Folk group

The Croatian Folklore ensemble in Houston was formed in 2009 with the idea to promote Croatian folk music and traditions through dance and music.

The Croatian Folklore participated on Houston International Festival, UNICEF International Festival, Croatian American Society Dinner & Dance in New Orleans and many more small events.

They practice and host their workshops at the Croatian Club and perform annually at Houston Slavic Festival.

Here are some photos from those performances.

The Lone Star Croatian dance group is opened to all ages. Anybody who wants to dance and learn about Croatian culture is welcome to join.

All costumes are replicas designed and created by group members to closely resemble the original version.

The choreographies are adopted by ex Croatian folk dancers.
