Houston is the diverse city of 6.5 milion people that speak 145 different languages. More than a third of Houstonians older than five speak a language other than English at home.
One of those languages is Croatian, which is spoken by people who are members of a small Croatian community in Houston. Althought a small group of people, they come from all walks of life and love living in the city of Houston.

♦ The tower’s rooftop terrace features a glass-bottom infinity pool that gives residents the sensation of swimming in the sky 500 feet above street level.
♦ The pool extends 10 feet beyond the side of the building and has an 8-inch-thick plexiglass floor that allows swimmers to look directly down 40 stories or 500 feet, onto Preston street. The view is also very impressive from the ground.
♦ Unfortunately it's a private pool, so only residents of the apartment complex have access to it. So if you live in Houston, it's in your best interest to either move into the building or befriend someone who lives there.
Space Center Houston is a leading science and space learning center, the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston and a Smithsonian Affiliate museum. The organization is owned and operated by the nonprofit Manned Spaceflight Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Johnson Space Center is the home of Mission Control and astronaut training.
The center opened in 1992 and hosts more than 1 million visitors annually in its 250,000-square-foot educational complex. It is one of the top destinations in Houston holding the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. The center holds over 400 space artifacts, permanent and traveling exhibits, attractions, live shows and theaters dedicated to preserving the history of America’s human spaceflight program. It has a number of significant artifact galleries.
